Skate Island welcomes you to practice with many of the best skaters in Sweden and Denmark the summer of 2012. The camps will take place during June 16 - July 14th. In the small town of Slite, on the sunny island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea, you have the ice rink, accommodations and a gym within a radius of 200 meters, and the wonderful beach is located only 800 meters away. The participants live in Solklintsskolan, Parents and other family members can book small cottages in Slite Strandby right on the beach or a room at the newly built hostal by the icerink.
The training is conducted by coaches who are used to training skaters from beginners to elite level. Our athletic and dance instructors are used to work with skaters on an international level.
On Saturday the 7th of July we will host a spectacular skating show, where locals as well as tourists will have a chance of seeing what Nordic figure skating can offer.
