Family activities
Staying at Skate Island is also supposed to be a pleasant experience for families accompanying the skaters. For families who choose to tag along to Slite we will arrange different activities, if there is an interest, in association with Graip idrottcenter. The activities can vary between bus rides to Fårö, guided walks around the area and so on.

We also offer daily physical activities. The exact program of activities will be set once we now how many parents are coming and how big the interest is. Do you have special interest and would like to know if those are available on the island, contact Skate Island and we can help you.

If the sun is shining a day at the fantastic beach in Slite or a trip to the blue lagoon is a good choice. A local activity that was greatly appreciated by last years visitors, was a visit to the cement factory including a ride up the 100 meter high watchtower from where, on clear days, you can see all the way to Visby. Wether it is sunny or rainy we can recomend a visit at Rute bakery where you can enjoy some delightful bread or a variety of extraordinary cookies. If you have more time to spend you can take a trip to Fårö.
