OFF-ICE PRACTICE
The off- ice practice at Skate Island will take place in high quality facilities at the Graip Sport centre. We have a fresh ice rink, gym, and dance studio all within a 200 meter radius from the living accommodations. We have chosen to have dance and physical training combined, the session will be 60 minutes. These changes have been made to help the skaters get the most out of their time at Skate Island. - The dancers physical training is great for figure skater, because they are very good at building fast and strong muscles that doesn't weigh so much and also keeps the body limber. - Fewer sessions means fewer warmups, softer schedules and more time for rehabilitation. - Two days out of the week the combined dance/physical training session will be more focused at strength training rather than dance. Dans teachers all weeks are Mauro Rojas. |
