Living
As a participant of the camp you live in the Solklintschool which is located about 200 meters from the ice rink, gym and dance facilities. Here the camp will provide you with a bed, a cover and a pillow. You are only expected to bring your own bed linen. To stay in the school you must be at least 8 years old. On the camp are camp parents 24 hours per day to take care of the skaters, and they speak Swedish and English. The skaters that stays in the school must be able to take on the skates them self and to follow a schedule. For those who want to live with their families, it is possible to book a cabin in Slite strandby which is situated on the beach. You book on www.slitestrandby.se. If You have a caravan there is a campsite 10 km south of Slite, Åminne Fritid och Havsbad. For families who want to be close to the ice rink, there are also places for motorhomes and caravans in direct connection. Hopefully this can make for a nice community. Book here. There is also a hotel near the beach in Slite. For more information and booking go to www.slitebaden.com There is a hostel nearby the icerink, Slite Vandrahem. You can book it through www.slitevandrarhem.se or by calling +46704 164490. Through google you can also be lucky enough to find private citizens of Slite who are subletting their houses and apartments. If we hear of any such sublets, we will post the contacts on Facebook during the spring. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the camp fee. Dinner is included the day of arrival and lunch the day of departure. Even if you live with your parents you eat your meals at the camp. For turist information press the picture

Slite Strandby
Lunch and dinner are served in the ice rink with a view over the ice and the sports ground. On the table You find the fantastic Skate Island-bread baked every day in the ice-rink.
